Education & Outreach
Inspiring the next generation of coastal stewards.

At the Australian Coastal Conservation Alliance (ACCA), we believe education is one of the most powerful tools for lasting environmental change. Our Education & Outreach programs empower students, teachers, local councils, and community groups with the knowledge and skills needed to protect Australia's precious coastal ecosystems.

From hands-on school workshops to national awareness campaigns, we’re building a connected, informed, and action-ready coastal community.

Coastal Classrooms: Learning by the Sea

Coastal Classrooms is our flagship school-based education program, designed for Australian primary and secondary students. Through interactive workshops, guided field trips, and curriculum-aligned teaching resources, students learn about:

  • Marine biodiversity and ecosystems

  • Human impacts on the ocean

  • Coastal clean-up science

  • Ocean-friendly habits and behaviours

→ Book a Workshop | Download Curriculum Kit – PDF

Aligned with the Australian Curriculum. Designed by educators. Backed by marine scientists.
